Caribbean restaurant Marleey's has taken a while to get off the ground, but it's now open. It had its official opening last week, after a short soft run at the end of November, & will be soon be offering lunch service in addition to dinner. It looks a bit pricier & less casual than neighboring restaurants at this end of Fifth, and the opaque glass windows make it difficult to see inside from the street. But how's the food? With Roosters/ the foodtruck/Breadfruit* nearby, there may be a curry goat taste-off in the works.
*Breadfruit is still closed right now. From the look of the floors in the building, the water damage must have been severe.
