Behind the curtained windows of the Jesus Never Fails Church of God the service was going full throttle. I turned left up 9th, past the American Legion Post, close to the burial site of the Maryland troops who fell in the Battle of Brooklyn. It wasn't the first time I'd seen the truck parked by No. 1636 - somewhere on here I'd already posted a picture of its Easy Like Sunday Morning side - but this day it looked as fine and good as ever. Maybe, just maybe, winter was ready to round the corner soon.
