Work is zipping along at Fourth & 9th. PA announcements have been heard on the elevated station platforms (a miracle!) and the vertical "SUBWAY" sign on 10th west of Fourth, gently glowing but still under wraps a couple of days ago (see above), has since been unveiled. Though no longer illuminated. Another of the new signs was seen lit (and uncovered) last week, but soon fell dark again.
The MTA giveth, and the MTA taketh away.
