I've walked along this stretch of 30s Fourth many times, but I think I'm more often on the eastern side of the avenue, and I'd never noticed the carved stone lettering at the top of 863 until yesterday. In the 80s there was a sportsmen's club here, & more recently a sewing supply business. I'd like to know the story of Let's Go.

How unusual!
I tired Googling it, but had no luck.
Yes, I'm quite a whiz at the lazy researcher's Googling methods, and like you, found nothing! I'll have to go to the Brooklyn Historical Society or Brooklyn Collection for some real digging. Both are great places to get help. It does seem an odd & quite modern sounding name to inscribe on a building. I wonder if there was some kind of newspaper or journal based there ...
