From looking in a real estate window today, I've learned that I live in the SoSlo Arts Area!! Really, it was about time for a re-branding around here. I've also learned that there's a new cachet in living in an ("early") wooden house with a pitched roof! I've arrived! This must be the same kind of non-brick-or-brownstone dwelling recently referred to rather airily on Brownstoner as "vernacular".
Now if my vernacular old pitched-roof SoSlo house can only survive the wrath of the demolition man, I'll be in broker-defined heaven.
