The owner of the store also owns the building, & I've heard he's still trying to decide what to do with the place. I will be very sad if the sign goes. It's such a beauty, & I'm more than a little obsessed with it. I miss the Smolen bar sign at 22nd street, which was taken down not long ago. Great Polish eagles.
